As a Vietnam Veteran who was fortunate to come home safely, I can only share my personal opinion of what I personally experienced while there in 1968. “Being in Hell while on Earth”. The government, the President, never told the American people and all it’s soldiers what was going on behind the scenes. Yet after trying for 20 years to get some monthly benefits for what I went through at that time, after three attempts I have gotten nowhere with the VA Hospital. Yet foolishly I would defend my Country and die for it tomorrow if I had to. Lastly I will not rest one minute while our Leadership in this Country is so questionable, so wrong, and acting above the law. A leader, a commander in chief who is not respected, who is not a Patriot, but more like an old day Pirate on a ship. Let him be removed and soon!

Photos Of The Vietnam War: The Real Story  David Ralph Retuya

The Vietnam War is one of the most bloody and controversial wars in U.S history. To stop the rapid spread of the Soviet political influence and communism, the U.S primarily waged this as a proxy war. It led to the deaths of 2.5 to 3.5 million Vietnamese and 60,000 Americans, and it destroyed Vietnam. It went on for 20 agonizing years, from 1955 to 1975.
All Hearts Mourn

The Vietnam War was a reality that no one asked for; it was a distortion of what the world wanted. People kept losing important individuals and comrades on a daily basis. It brought a pain that no one could get used to, no matter how frequently it happened. The image shown above is an obvious depiction of mourning soldiers.

INEVITABLE CONCLUSION ON THE HORIZON FOR TRUMP. MAY 4, 2019

SOUND FAMILIAR? Pro Trump supporters must digest this...

On this day in 1974, Richard Nixon refused to provide materials to the Senate Watergate Committee, which it had subpoenaed. This led eventually to the Supreme Court case United States v Nixon, where a unanimous Court found on 24 July 1974 that the president did have to turn over those materials. Nixon resigned two weeks later.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on a House Judiciary Committee hearing about the attorney general’s handling of the special counsel’s Russia report (all times local):

President Donald Trump is signaling he will not allow aides, including former White House counsel Don McGahn, to testify before Congress, opening another front in the showdown between his administration and lawmakers.

Trump says in an interview with Fox News: “They’ve testified for many hours, all of them. I would say, it’s done.”

Democrats on Capitol Hill want McGahn and other key witnesses in special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe to testify, but White House lawyer Emmet Flood says Trump is reserving the right to assert executive privilege in blocking their testimony.
